How the estimate works
The Moon’s calculated longitude is adjusted using a quadratic approximation of Lahiri ayanamsa, then divided into twelve 30° signs. Results within 0.15° of a boundary show both neighbouring signs. With no birth time, possible times across the local date are checked every 15 minutes. Supported dates: 1900 to today. Traditional guidance; results should be confirmed with your practitioner when timing is uncertain.

An eight-direction circle uses 45° sectors; a 16-zone circle uses 22.5° sectors for a finer direction reference. The zones radiate from the chosen centre, so a room may overlap more than one. Explore the labels, then relate them to a measured plan.

Start with changes you control, such as furniture placement, storage and small colour accents. Explain your lease, budget and space limits before agreeing recommendations. Building, electrical or plumbing changes need the owner’s permission and appropriate professional input.

Use a measured boundary and a checked north reference rather than the orientation of a screen or photograph. Nearby metal and appliances can affect compass readings. For extensions, balconies or missing corners, ask the practitioner to explain the boundary and centre used in the review.
